Growing up in an Asian household, I’ve never been taught by anyone how to take care of my curly hair. Instead I had to get a straight perm once in a while to get rid of my curls and fit in the society. It took me a long time to understand how stupid this was 🥲 but now I’m really happy to share my journey and inspire people to embrace their wavy/curly hair ❤️ Does it mean I won’t ever straighten my hair again? Since I started my curly hair journey, I haven’t done it. But I would love to!
